A full-time opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide itinerant services in K-12 private schools near Orlando, FL. This contract position supports several private schools in the Oviedo and Sanford areas, offering a dynamic caseload of students across elementary through high school. Immediate availability is preferred, with the contract running through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Travel between multiple private school locations, including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Masters Academy, The Ecclesial School at Saint Albans, Altamonte Christian School, Orangewood Christian, and International Community School.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines regarding speech therapy services.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field.
- Current Florida State License to practice as an SLP.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be willing to provide itinerant services across multiple school sites.
- SLPA candidates will not be considered.
